Primary Purpose

The Content Strategist and Copywriter is responsible for crafting compelling, innovative and strategically aligned storytelling across digital, social and retail media channels. This role is pivotal in translating strategies into effective messaging that drives engagement, sales and supports business objectives. The content strategist collaborates closely with the cross-functional teams, serves as a marketing specialist, and manages creative projects from concept to execution. The content strategist also plays a key role in developing comprehensive briefs and overseeing the project management of content initiatives as required.

Our flexible/ hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations include Carlisle, PA.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Strategic Copywriting & Content Development
    • Create impactful retail media content, including product descriptions, in-store displays, and promotional materials, tailored to drives sales and enhance the shopper experience.
    • Develop clear, persuasive and original copy for digital platforms, including websites, email campaigns, online advertising, and SEO content, ensuring alignment with strategy and objectives.
    • Craft engaging copy for social media platforms that drives user engagement, enhances CPG and/or brand awareness, and aligns with the overall social media strategy.
    • Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to develop campaign concepts that resonate with target audiences and effectively communicate key messages across all channels.
  • Marketing Specialist and Briefing
    • Act as a marketing specialist within the team, providing expert guidance on content strategy, audience targeting, messaging tactics and marketing objectives.
    • Develop detailed content briefs with creative and marketing teams, ensuring that all projects are strategically sound and creatively driven.
  • Project Management
    • Manage the end-to-end process of content development projects, from initial ADRM concept to final delivery, ensuring all milestones are met on time and within budget.
    • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless execution of content initiatives, monitoring progress, and resolving any issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
    • Maintain details project documentation, including timelines, and resource allocation to create accountability throughout the project.
  • Voice & Consistency
    • Ensure all content is produced in a consistent voice and style maintaining a cohesive brand presence across all digital, social, and retail media platforms.
    • Ensure all messaging aligns with brand guidelines.
    • Continually refine and evolve the brand's messaging to stay relevant and competitive in a dynamic market.
    • Refine and leverage best in class call-to-action determined through KPIs and analytics to drive engagement and sales/purchase.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with designers and ADRM team to ensure that all content is integrated seamlessly into broader marketing efforts and aligns with visual elements.
    • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas that drive innovative marketing campaigns across all retail media platforms.
    • Collaborate with external CPG partners to ensure that content aligns with the company standards and messaging strategy.
  • Research and Insight Integration
    • Utilize data and analytics to assess the effectiveness of content and to make informed adjustments to improve engagement and conversion rates.
    • Conduct thorough research to understand target audiences, industry trends and insights that inform and refine content strategies.
  • Innovation & Creative Problem-Solving
    • Stay abreast of emerging trends in digital, social, and retail media continuously seeking out new opportunities to innovate and enhance content strategies.
    • Address complex challenges with creative solutions that balance the need for engaging content with strategic business goals.
  • Content Performance & Optimization
    • Regularly review andanalyze the performance of content and copy across digital, social and retail media platforms.
    • Develop and maintain a library of high-performing content that can be repurposed or adapted for future use for efficient use of resources.
    • Report on key metrics and performance indicators, providing insights and recommendations for future content.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in copywriting across digital, social and retail media channels
  • Demonstrated capabilities as a marketing specialist with a deep understanding of content strategy and messaging tactics.
  • Strong experience in project management with experience in Workfront or a project management system preferred
  • Exception writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a eye for detail and the ability to adapt messages for different audiences.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem solving skills and the ability to think creatively and strategically.

Preferred Qualfifications
  • 5 years of experience in copywriting

ME/NC/PA/SC Salary Range: $75,040 - $112,560

IL/MA/MD/NY Salary Range: $86,320 - $129,480

Actual compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on their unique qualifications and experience, internal equity, and market conditions. Final compensation decisions will be made in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
