JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Under the supervision of Trust Services management, and direct supervision of the LTRO Program Manager, the Recorder must analyze, record and image a wide variety of realty and title documents. Perform data entry, file creation, records clean-up, title chaining and title reporting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)
- Review documents for recordation.
- Record, scan, and image realty/legal instruments into federal system of record.
- Create and maintain hard copy and electronic files.
- Perform extensive records research.
- Print title reports from the system of record.
- Records management in accordance with applicable regulations, policies and procedures.
- Data entry into a federal system of record.
- Responds to client inquiries and routes to appropriate individuals, as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Must pay attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational ability.
- Achieves goals and deadlines.
- Excellent grammar and communication skills.
- Works well independently and under pressure.
- Must type a minimum of 55 wpm.
- Proficient in computer applications including Microsoft Office, Word, Access, Excel, and Outlook.
- Must comply with applicable training and security requirements.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; additional relevant education a plus,
- Minimum of two (1) year experience in an office environment.
- Desired: Experience reading and interpreting legal descriptions, real estate transactions and Chain of title.
- Starting wage depends on experience.
