What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Technician position at Agri-Stor Management?
We are seeking a Service Technician for our Washington branch (potatoes and onions). This is a full-time
position. Pay is negotiable depending on experience with productive bonus incentives upon completion of a 90-day probationary period. This position will generally be 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. During our busy Harvest Season, overtime will be required based on customer's needs, and weekend and evening work can be expected. Overtime pay is calculated at regular hourly rate, times 1.5, for any hours worked over 40 per week.

As a member of our skilled team, you will need to be able to do the following:
- We prefer experience in Controls & Refrigeration but willing to provide training for the right person.
- Prefer an applicant that can read/follow a wiring Schematic.
Climbing ladders to remove fan screens, etc. and other physical activity for job preparation.- Working outside and in the cellar's, within the Weather conditions.
Assisting the Service Department with installs and service calls.
Assisting the Service Department with Storage Pre-Season and startups.
We are looking for someone who:

- Complete appropriate online forms for each service call daily
- Is detailed-oriented
- Is able to complete daily work logs/paperwork and make recommendations to Customers
- is able to keep a clean and orderly work space and vehicle
- Is professional and courteous to others
- Has a basic knowledge of electricity (will train)
- Conduct on-site troubleshooting for electrical and mechanical equipment
- Make necessary repairs utilizing visual inspections and testing procedures.
- Troubleshoot and repair storage ventilation and refrigeration systems as well as control panels and other equipment.
- Annual cleaning of ClimaCell tanks and other pre-season services
- Maintain all company-provided assets in a safe and proper manner
- Is mechanically inclined and experience with basic power tools
- Enjoys working with their hands
- Can work in various weather conditions
- Enjoys working in a different location everyday
Our insurance company requires drug testing and background checking. You will need to have a valid driver's license and carry a good acceptable driving record, as you will be driving a company vehicle. The job requires lifting 50 pounds on a regular basis, and overtime hours and weekends are required as we respond to the busy harvest season.
