Job description:
Agri Center is looking for an Experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our growing team. In this role, the Human Resources Generalist will play a key part in supporting day-to-day HR operations and contributing to the organization’s overall efficiency and compliance.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
- Manages the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, resume screening, interview coordination, background checks, and employee eligibility verification
- Facilitates new hire onboarding and orientation, and coordinates ongoing training and development initiatives
- Assist with payroll processing to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Respond to employee inquiries, investigate concerns, and support conflict resolution in a professional and consistent manner
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; assist with maintaining and updating HR policies and employee handbooks
- Supports the performance review process, including tracking goals, documentation, and assisting with corrective and disciplinary actions in accordance with company policy
- Performs other duties as assigned to support HR operations
Qualifications:
- Minimum of (2) year of Human Resources experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn and effectively utilize HRIS and other business systems
- High attention to detail with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally at all levels of the organization
- Prior work experience in a dealership preferred, but not necessary
