We're a time-critical logistics and global trade company: Importer/Exporter of Record, On-Board Courier, and end-to-end supply chain solutions for the aviation, automotive, and IT/telecom industries. The Role 

We're building our account management function from the ground up, and we're looking for a go-getter to own it. This isn't a "babysit a contact list" job. You'll be the person who turns our existing customers into long-term partners, grows the revenue inside every account, and becomes the voice of the customer back to the business. 

You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with the CEO and our Business Transformation team to start and develop this function from scratch, which means real ownership, real autonomy, and the room to build it your way. We want someone who works independently, takes initiative, and doesn't wait to be told what to do next.

What You'll Own 

Relationships & retention 

  • Build and manage strong relationships with our existing customers, becoming their trusted point of contact at AGOL. 
  • De-escalate issues quickly and keep customers confident even when time-critical shipments get complicated. 
  • Act as the bridge between customers and operations, working in close coordination with the operations team to ensure they meet SLAs on customer inquiries and requests and deliver work to each customer's requirements. 


Account growth 

  • Grow existing accounts through upsells and cross-sells across AGOL's full range of services. 
  • Turn satisfied customers into advocates by securing referrals and testimonials that fuel new business. 

Market intelligence & enablement 

  • Run discovery conversations with customers, identify competitors, and surface what's really driving their decisions. 
  • Build and refine talk tracks for customer discovery, objection handling and rebuttals, and positioning AGOL's services. 


Process, tooling & reporting 

  • Analyze the tools and processes behind account management, identify where the gaps are, and define the fixes. 
  • Build, design, and review the playbooks and SOPs that make the function repeatable and scalable. 
  • Build the reporting and dashboards that track account health, growth, and retention. 


What We're Looking For 

  • 6 years in account management, customer success, or a client-facing commercial role. 
  • Hands-on experience with CRM systems for managing accounts, pipeline, and activity. 
  • Comfortable working with dialers and high-volume customer outreach. 
  • Strong command of the Microsoft 365 / Office suite, with good proficiency in Excel for tracking, analysis, and reporting. 
  • A relationship-builder who also drives revenue, equally at home de-escalating a tense call and spotting an upsell. 
  • Strong coordination skills, paired with creativity, out-of-the-box thinking, and the adaptability to thrive in fast-changing situations. 
  • A self-starter who's comfortable in ambiguity and a startup environment, able to take a goal and run with it without someone holding your hand. 


Nice to Have 

  • Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain. 
  • A track record of expanding accounts and hitting retention or growth targets.
