Agilix Solutions currently has an opening for an Industrial Inside Salesperson at our Lenexa, KS branch. This position is a full-time Inside Sales role that is responsible for sales growth, leveraging a well-defined strategic plan.
This role will report to the Operations Manager.
Responsibilities
- Support the sale of industrial, automation, and electrical products through product knowledge.
- Act as a resource for customers, providing timely and effective customer service.
- Collaborate with Outside Sales to maintain up-to-date information on customer activities.
- Complete quote and order requests, ensuring accurate and timely entry.
- Monitor open order and back-order reports, proactively updating customers and Account Managers on status.
- Provide backup support for the team as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience selling industrial automation and electrical products preferred.
- Strong customer service focus with a sales-driven mindset.
- Quick response time and effective problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 5-10 pounds at times.
