Join a newly formed analytics team focused on a large-scale initiative to rebuild a client reporting platform. The goal is to create a self-service portal where clients can access all their data in one place. As a BI Engineer, you’ll be responsible for building modern, cohesive dashboards and partnering with business stakeholders to turn complex data into actionable insights.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders and business partners to gather reporting requirements and translate them into scalable Tableau solutions.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Tableau dashboards that consolidate data from multiple sources into one unified view.
- Partner with Data Engineers to leverage data housed in Snowflake and other cloud-based warehouse environments.
- Write and maintain SQL queries to support dashboard datasets and validate data accuracy.
- Present insights to business leaders with clarity and executive-level communication.
- Contribute to ongoing efforts to establish a semantic layer supporting modernization and AI-readiness initiatives.
The Perfect Candidate:
The ideal candidate would bring the following:
- Strong experience developing interactive dashboards in Tableau (preferably enterprise-scale).
- Proven ability to gather requirements from non-technical business partners and communicate findings effectively.
- Exposure to Snowflake or other cloud-based data warehouse infrastructures.
- Intermediate SQL proficiency (comfortable explaining CTEs, window functions, joins).
- Excellent communication skills and professional presence — must be confident working with leadership-level stakeholders.
- Familiarity with ETL tools or data integration processes.
- Experience with semantic layer modeling or dashboard enablement frameworks.
