Location/Remote: Hybrid in Alpharetta, GA, 30005 (3 days per week onsite).
Employment Type: 6-month Contract (W-2) - possibility to extend.
Compensation: Up to $74/hour (commensurate with experience)

This IT Project Manager contract role drives delivery for active initiatives with near-term milestones, ensuring work stays on plan and risks are addressed early. Success in this position requires strong execution in an Agile environment, clear stakeholder communication, and the ability to quickly ramp into established processes to close action items and hit committed dates.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end delivery for projects already in flight, aligning scope, timeline, dependencies, and near-term milestones into a clear execution plan
- Drive Agile ceremonies and delivery rhythms, coordinating work across teams to keep progress predictable and transparent
- Develop and maintain project plans, RAID logs, and action-item tracking to ensure issues, risks, and blockers are resolved to closure
- Manage stakeholder communications, including concise written updates, status reports, and escalation paths for decision-making
- Coordinate release readiness and milestone validation, confirming requirements, acceptance criteria, and deliverables are met before cutover
- Facilitate problem-solving sessions to identify root causes, document decisions, and drive follow-through on remediation plans
- Improve delivery effectiveness by refining project workflows, reporting cadences, and operational processes based on lessons learned
Required Skills:
- 5 years of Agile project management experience delivering technology initiatives from execution through closeout
- Experience managing projects already in flight and delivering to near-term milestones while controlling scope and dependencies
- Experience working in an Agile environment, including planning, execution tracking, and iterative delivery
- Proven ability to drive project execution, planning, issue/risk remediation, and problem resolution using structured PM practices
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including stakeholder updates, status reporting, and executive-ready summaries
Preferred Skills:
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP)
- Experience supporting digital employee experience platforms (e.g., Jira, Confluence, messaging platforms)
- Experience driving process improvement/optimization initiatives to increase delivery predictability and reduce cycle time
- ServiceNow experience or ability to navigate the application for intake, tracking, and operational workflows
- Experience supporting macOS/mobile initiatives, including coordinating OS version rollout communications and stakeholder readiness planning
