Work Location: AGI Fabricators – Milwaukee
Division: Manufacturing (Full Time, Exempt)
Under the direction of the General Manager, the Quality Control Manager/Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) is responsible for overseeing the quality control processes and ensuring that all welding activities meet the required standards and specifications.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma/GED
- Years of Relevant Work Experience: 5 years quality control experience with AWS & ASME Quality Control Management
- Certificates/Licenses: Certified Weld Inspector, Valid Driver’s License
- Physical Job Requirements: Move throughout office, construction site, and general outdoor environments
Key Activities
- Quality Control Systems: Develop and implement quality control systems and measures to meet set standards.
- Inspection and Testing: Inspect and test materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Documentation: Maintain quality control records and company quality processes.
- Staff Management: Coordinate and manage staff members in the quality control department and recruit, train, and support quality personnel.
- Customer Relations: Maintain relationships with manufacturing customers.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Training: Identify and implement training needs for the production team to meet quality standards.
- Problem Resolution: Resolve production and manufacturing problems to minimize cost and delay.
