Under the direction of the Shop Foreman, you?ll operate metal fabrication equipment to produce parts and assemblies according to drawings and specifications. Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Years of Relevant Work Experience: 1 to 3 years? experience operating metal fabrication machinery
- Certificates/Licenses: Driver?s License. Forklift and Overhead Crane Certification preferred.
- Physical Job Requirements: Move throughout the shop with the ability to carry up to 75lbs.
- Read blueprints, follow work orders, and determine set-up and production needs.
- Measure and inspect parts to ensure quality standards are met.
- Operate fabrication machinery.
- Load and unload materials and maintain accurate production records.
- Perform routine maintenance to keep equipment in optimal condition.
- Maintain a clean work area and environment.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE.
