What You’ll Do
Administer Medications: Safely provide medications according to physician orders and residents’ care plans.
Maintain Accurate Records: Document medication administration clearly and correctly.
Monitor Well-Being: Observe residents for changes, side effects, or concerns and report them promptly.
Support Daily Living: Assist residents with personal needs while protecting their dignity and independence.
Build Connections: Develop meaningful relationships with residents, families, and team members.
Create a Positive Environment: Bring compassion, patience, and positive energy to each shift.
What You’ll Bring
Required Certification: Hold an active 40-hour Medication Aide certification in Nebraska.
Communication Skills: Communicate clearly and professionally with residents and team members.
Attention to Detail: Follow medication procedures carefully and maintain accurate documentation.
Basic Computer Skills: Use electronic systems for medication tracking and documentation.
Heart for Seniors: Have a genuine interest in helping older adults live their best lives.
Dependability: Be available to work the assigned schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
