Must have a vehicle and be willing to transport.
Applicants must have a passion for serving individuals with disabilities. The ideal candidate will assist individuals with daily living activities, promote independence, and improve their quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Assist participant with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Support participant with household tasks including meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry
- Accompany participant to appointments if needed
- Follow an individualized plan of care and report any changes in the participant's condition.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for the participant.
- Communicate effectively with participants, families, and supervisors
- Respect participants' confidentiality and dignity at all times.
Qualifications:
- Passion for serving individuals with disabilities
- Ability to assist with physical tasks and mobility support if needed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Dependable, punctual, and professional appearance
- Previous experience in caregiving or similar roles preferred but not required
