Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer with expertise in EMI/EMC and Signal Integrity (SI) to support the design and development of ruggedized mobile computers and barcode scanners. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in RF technologies, simulation tools, and high-speed interface analysis, ensuring compliance with global standards and optimal product performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform detailed SI/EMC simulations at component, board, and system levels using tools like CST Studio Suite and Cadence Sigrity
• Conduct pre-layout and post-layout signal integrity analysis for high-speed interfaces (DDR3/DDR4, USB 2.0/3.x)
• Analyze eye diagrams, impedance, crosstalk, and timing performance
• Support products with integrated wireless technologies such as Wi-Fi, RFID, and WWAN
• Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve design quality and productivity
• Review and enhance existing designs and applications
• Develop innovative engineering solutions and custom tools for analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to improve product performance
• Ensure designs meet EMI/EMC compliance standards
• Contribute to the integration of AI-driven solutions to enhance simulation and analysis processes
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of experience OR Master’s degree with 2 years of experience in Electrical/RF Engineering
• Strong experience in EMI/EMC and Signal Integrity analysis
• Hands-on experience with RF technologies: Wi-Fi, WWAN, RFID
• Proficiency with lab instruments: VNA, Spectrum Analyzer, Oscilloscope, RF Power Meter
• Experience with simulation tools such as Ansys HFSS, Cadence Sigrity, or CST Studio Suite
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred Skills:
• Experience working on ruggedized devices or embedded systems
• Exposure to AI/ML integration in engineering tools or simulations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
