Summary:
This position verifies the Quality of inputs going into the production area, during production, and outgoing items meet specifications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
▪ Inspects materials and products, for conformance to specifications, using fixed or preset measuring instruments (fixtures, gauges, and guides).
▪ Ensures materials and products are in accordance with established tolerance levels for quality and performance.
▪ Inspect outgoing work orders per customer requirements.
▪ Verify materials per MTR and drawings.
▪ Construct customer databooks.
▪ Track measurement and test equipment for calibration.
▪ Incorporate safety into the working place.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education/Experience:
2 years related experience in testing and measurement devices and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Any experience with instrumentation, machining, welding, document control, electrical, or ISO 9001 is a plus.
Language Ability:
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees, managers, clients, customers.
Math Ability:
Ability to apply concepts such as basic trigonometry, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
Work Environment:
