Spokane R-VII is seeking student-centered, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable certified teaching candidates for a vocational agriculture teacher at Spokane High School for the 2026-2027 school year. Spokane High School houses students in grades 9-12. The successful candidate will maintain high expectations for student performance, provide engaging instruction and activities, and use positive classroom management strategies to encourage positive behavior. Spokane High School is located in SW MO. The District is set in a rural community that values its school system. The District has a strong commitment to educating its youth. Vocational Agriculture and FFA are important within the District and school community. Spokane has a strong Jr. Ag group so there is support for Ag education and a pipeline of interested students eager to learn about Ag and FFA. Spokane R-VII is in their 3rd year using a newly constructed agriculture building adjacent to the high school; with a large shop, attached greenhouse, and land for SAE project and classroom development. This position includes an extra-duty package with set days being negotiable. Spokane R-VII offers a competitive salary schedule, a collaborative environment on a four-day school week schedule, and is professionally supportive. This position is open until filled.
