Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team and ensure the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of our facility and equipment. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong technical knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to safety and preventative maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, schedule, and coordinate daily activities of maintenance technicians
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs
- Diagnose equipment issues and ensure timely repairs
- Monitor work quality to ensure compliance with company standards and safety regulations
- Maintain maintenance logs, records, and documentation
- Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts
- Assist in budgeting and cost control for maintenance operations
- Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors as needed
- Train, mentor, and evaluate maintenance staff
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and other applicable safety regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree preferred
- 8 years of maintenance experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and PLC systems
- Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient with maintenance management software
Preferred Skills
- Experience in manufacturing and/or industrial facilities
- Knowledge of electro/mechanical systems and schematics
- Machine Troubleshooting
- Bilingual abilities are a plus
