Job Summary
The Product Line Management (PLM) Team at AIS is responsible for shaping the company’s product portfolio to support growth and market relevance. We identify market opportunities, define product strategy, and partner with engineering, operations, sales, and marketing to bring new products to market and continuously improve existing ones. The Associate Product Line Manager role provides additional product line management capacity with a targeted focus on product data analysis, decision support, performance tracking, category management, and project management support.
Key Responsibilities-Enhanced Product Data Analysis
- Collect internal and external data to enable faster, more informed decisions around new, competitive product strategies, and perform consistent product performance tracking.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Finance, Operations, and IT teams to validate data and implement improvements.
- Analyze current and legacy pricing data across multiple pricelists, investigate root causes of legacy pricing errors and recommend corrective actions to improve accuracy, consistency and margins.
- Conduct market research on trends for new products and identify competitive opportunities for gap management.
Sales and Dealer Support
- Provide product inquiry support to sales, customer service, and dealers on focused product line(s) including answering product questions, provide competitive insight and positioning.
- Support AIS Sales, client, customer and dealer relations internally and externally in product training tools & presentations, both in the office and in the field as needed.
- Update all tools for price increases, including express brochure, margin maker slides, GP calculator, price lists, etc.
- Help to ensure a professional appearance of all products at HQ (if applicable).
- Support dealer showroom and AIS showroom refreshes as needed.
Cross Functional Team Support
- Participate in regular meetings with PLM and broader product development teams to support product launches, planning and forecasting needs.
- Support improved cross functional team support of Engineering, PLM and Manufacturing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Analytics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent experience in data analysis and product support may be considered.
- 4 years demonstrated success in data analysis, product development or project management
- Experience supporting sustainability programs, environmental compliance, operational initiatives, or administrative functions.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Commercial furniture industry experience preferred
- Comfortable working cross-functionally and balancing strategic initiatives with hands-on operational support.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
