Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) – Weekend Case (Teaneck, NJ)
Saturday & Sunday | 8am–8pm | $45/hr Setting: Pediatric Private Duty • Company: Affirmed Home Care
Provide meaningful, 1:1 skilled nursing care every weekend for a 14‑year‑old female with cerebral palsy in Teaneck, NJ. She is non‑ambulatory, non‑verbal, receives oral feeds, and requires respiratory therapies including nebulizer treatments, cough assist, and chest vest therapy. Key Responsibilities
Comprehensive pediatric assessment — Perform ongoing RN‑level evaluations and respond to changes in condition
Respiratory management — Nebulizer treatments, cough assist, chest vest therapy
Clinical monitoring & documentation — Maintain accurate, timely records and communicate updates
Family‑centered collaboration — Support routines, comfort, and stability
Home safety & infection control — Ensure proper equipment use and safe environment
Pay Rate
RN: $45/hr
Available Shifts
Priority Weekend Case: Saturday & Sunday, 8am–8pm (Teaneck, NJ)
Additional day, evening, and overnight shifts available across nearby pediatric cases
Qualifications
Active New Jersey RN License
Pediatric experience preferred (home care or facility)
Current BLS Certification
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Valid driver’s license preferred
Physical exam within 12 months
PPD or QuantiFERON within 1 year (or chest X‑ray within 5 years)
Proof of MMR within 10 years
Proof of flu vaccine or approved exemption
