Speech Pathologist | PEDS

Role Overview

The Speech Pathologist evaluates and treats patients with speech, language, cognition, voice, and dysphagia deficits in a home setting. They develop and implement individualized treatment plans, modify intervention strategies based on ongoing assessments, and provide direct therapy using various strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and interpret diagnostic tests to determine patient needs.
• Develop and adjust personalized treatment programs aligned with patient capabilities and care plans.
• Deliver therapy services across different settings, ensuring effective patient engagement.
• Document evaluations, treatment plans, and progress reports accurately.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Participate in program development and supervise clinical interns.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• CCC-SLP from ASHA or active state licensure in practice area.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and assessment skills.
• Ability to work with diverse age groups, from infants to geriatrics.
• Commitment to confidentiality and safety standards.
