Role: Clinical Nurse Educator in Interventional Radiology

- Lead nurse orientation, onboarding, and ongoing education within the Interventional Radiology department.
- Mentor staff, provide bedside coaching, and support evidence-based nursing practices.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify educational needs, develop competencies, and enhance quality and safety outcomes.
- Design and deliver educational programs, skills training, and competency assessments.
- Maintain clinical expertise through direct patient care and promote nursing excellence.
- Current Illinois RN license with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing; Master's preferred.
- 3-5 years of recent procedural nursing experience (e.g., Interventional Radiology, Cath Lab).
- Previous experience in education, precepting, or staff development preferred.
- BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
- Strong communication, leadership, and coaching skills.
- Experience with electronic medical records such as Epic is preferred.
- Willingness to obtain specialty certification within one year if not already certified.
