- Deliver skilled physical therapy interventions, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and use of physical agents, in accordance with physician plans and state guidelines.
- Assist patients with mobility, gait training, transfer techniques, and prosthetic use to promote safety and independence.
- Observe, document, and communicate patient responses and progress to the Physical Therapist and care team.
- Educate patients on device usage and safety measures.
- Participate in interdisciplinary care discussions, team meetings, and quality improvement activities.
- Graduate of an accredited PTA program with an associate degree.
- Current PTA certification or licensure per state law.
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Current CPR certification and a valid, insured driver’s license with reliable transportation.
