Role Overview: The Patient Registrar Float is responsible for accurate patient registration, verifying insurance coverage, and collecting necessary account and demographic information. This role involves interviewing patients at various facilities, ensuring all documentation and signatures are obtained, and processing patient charts efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct bedside and workstation registration, providing excellent customer service.
• Verify insurance benefits, obtain pre-certifications, and enter authorization details.
• Calculate and collect patient liabilities, ensuring all signatures and documentation are complete.
• Explain policies related to services, billing, and payments to patients and responsible parties.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Preferred at least 1 year of related experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
