Role: Supervises clinical operations within the Imaging Department, ensuring efficient equipment, personnel, scheduling, and customer service management.
Responsibilities: Oversees technical activities with modality-specific equipment, plans and schedules staffing, and manages patient imaging procedures, including setup and positioning. Performs limited evaluation of images, assists in developing protocols to maintain image quality and safety standards, reviews operational data, and provides technical guidance to staff and students. Recommends personnel actions such as hiring and performance evaluations.
Qualifications: Requires certification in relevant imaging modality (ARRT, ARDMS, NMTCB), with at least four years of experience in an imaging modality and two years in a supervisory or team leader role preferred. BLS certification is also required.
Skills & Abilities: Supervision of Mammography Techs, collaboration with Ultrasound Techs and Nurse Navigators, and procedure scheduling expertise. Strong leadership, technical proficiency, and communication skills are essential.
