Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to state laws and only perform procedures within their qualification, reporting changes to the supervising PT.
- Assist patients with exercises, gait, transfers, ADLs, and prosthetic training.
- Monitor and document patient responses, communicating with the healthcare team.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques.
- Current licensed or certified to practice physical therapy assistance.
- CPR certification, valid driver’s license, reliable transportation.
- Ability to work in diverse home environments and perform physical tasks such as lifting and assisting mobility.
- Available for weekend rotations.
