Role: The Acute Care Registered Nurse provides high-quality, patient-centered care across Med/Surg, Progressive Care, and ICU settings. They collaborate with medical providers to assess patient conditions, perform procedures, administer medications, and document care thoroughly. The RN advocates for patients to ensure an excellent experience and supports pre- and post-operative care.
Responsibilities: Assess patient status, perform ordered procedures, manage medications, monitor responses, and maintain accurate documentation. They stay knowledgeable about relevant medications, procedures, and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical patients.
Qualifications: Requires at least one year of RN experience, an Associates Degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s or Master’s preferred), current RN licensure, and certifications in BLS, ACLS, and CPI. Strong hospital experience is preferred.
Skills: Excellent assessment, communication, and procedural skills, with a focus on patient advocacy and safety.
