Role Description This is a full-time Mortgage Loan Officer role based in Worthington, OH with a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site and work-from-home flexibility. The Mortgage Loan Officer will originate and manage residential mortgage applications, guide clients through loan options, and provide clear explanations of products, terms, and requirements. Daily responsibilities include building and maintaining a pipeline of leads, conducting initial borrower consultations, gathering and reviewing financial documentation, and submitting complete files for underwriting. The role includes partnering with internal teams to monitor loan status, resolve issues, and ensure timely closings, while maintaining compliance with all applicable lending regulations and company policies. Qualifications
- Strong background in the mortgage industry, including experience with residential mortgage lending and familiarity with current loan products and guidelines.
- Proficiency in loan officer responsibilities, such as originating, structuring, and managing mortgage files from application through closing.
- Working knowledge of underwriting principles and documentation requirements to prepare accurate and complete loan packages.
- Demonstrated commitment to high-quality customer service, with the ability to explain complex financial information in clear, accessible terms.
