Your Role as a Dental Treatment Coordinator
- Guide Patients Through Care: Present treatment plans clearly and compassionately; review timelines, steps, and expectations
- Own the Financial Conversation: Verify benefits, prepare pre-auths, calculate patient portions, and explain payment options to drive case acceptance
- Keep Care on Track: Schedule procedures, coordinate follow-ups, and proactively follow up on pending treatment
- Be the Communication Hub: Liaise with referring offices, patients, and the clinical team to ensure seamless handoffs
- Handle Documentation with Precision: Capture consents, financial agreements, and policy forms while maintaining HIPAA compliance
- Elevate the Patient Experience: Anticipate needs, reduce anxiety, and ensure each visit feels organized and supportive
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- 1 year in a dental treatment coordinator or related front-office role (required)
- Specialty or endodontic experience (preferred)
- Working knowledge of ADA codes and insurance plans (PPO, HMO, Medicaid, Indemnity)
- Proficiency with dental practice software (Denticon or similar)
- Clear, confident communicator with strong organization, follow-through, and empathy under pressure
