Description:
Teijen Automotive in Huntington, Indiana is a Tier 1 Supplier to Ford and General Motors. They make the side panels for the Corvette, hard tops for the Ford Bronco and Truck Beds for the General Motors in Fort Wayne, Indiana. They are looking for Maintenance Technicians for their 2nd shift operation.
They will repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment such as press machines, conveyor systems, facilities and assembly equipment.
Essential Job Functions:
Include the following:
1. Plant maintenance to install, maintain and repair complex electronic, hydraulic and mechanical systems such large molding press, robots, assembly fixtures, drill fixtures, paint/finish equipment, conveyors and general plant facility type of equipment.
2. Installs electronic-automation type equipment and control systems.
3. Trouble shoots, repairs and maintains electronic controls, hydraulic system, pneumatic systems, controls and mechanical equipment.
4. Makes operating decisions in meeting the department’s objectives.
5. Conducts P.M. programs.
6. Participates in training programs.
2:30pm - 10:30pm (Monday - Friday) Occasional Saturday's for PM's

Must Haves:
- 2 years of industrial maintenance experience
- Ability to troubleshoot hydraulic systems
- Experience reading a volt meter and working up to 480 phase
- Ability to read blueprints
- Must have own tools
Would be Nice:
- Fabrication experience
- Leadership experience and ability to train
- Experience troubleshooting robots
