Description: Job Description:• Perform complex wiring and assembly operation to production standards.• Assembly and repair of printed circuit boards utilizing soldering processes related to both PTH (Plated-Thru Hole) and SMT (Surface Mount Technology) including continuity checks.• Basic mechanical assembly.• Set-up and operate all applicable equipment to productive capacity.• Provide training and assistance to assemblers of lesser skill levels Essential Functions:• Record and maintain data as required• Work with and assist technical personnel such as Methods Analysts, Engineering, etc. in working out practical problems in relation to their work assignments.• Work from drawings, operation sheets and verbal instruction.• Lead forming, adhesive/coating applications, tooling operations and rework and repair.• Possess and apply the knowledge and techniques necessary to the manufacture electronic assemblies. Qualifications:• Knowledge of IPC-610 and J-STD-001 standards.• Good knowledge of the soldering process, which include proper technique, machine maintenance and calibration routines.• A minimum of six years directly related experience.• Must have extensive knowledge of all assembly skills from ball bonding, wedge bonding, parallel gap welding substrate and component attach, rework and repair.• Perform complex wiring and assembly operations to production standards.• Complete substrate/component attach, ball bonding, wedge bonding and parallel gap welding of micro-electronic assembles and repair of assembles.• Basic mechanical assembly.• Set-up and operate all applicable equipment.• Work with extremely small devices under a microscope. Preferred Additional Skills:• Ability to work with extremely small devices using a microscope • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, including Excel and Power Point
