What are the responsibilities and job description for the ERP Manager position at AeroControlex?
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mid/Senior-Level ERP Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background and hands-on experience with both on-premises and some cloud-based software systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business needs, develop and implement system solutions, and ensure optimal performance of the ERP system. This is a full-time, on-site position.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze, document, and validate business requirements to develop effective system solutions
- Support, maintain, and enhance on-premises applications, including AS/400 Mapics ERP and SmarTeam PDM systems
- Design, develop, and implement software solutions using SQL, Visual Basic, .NET, and IIS applications
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and automation
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
- Develop and maintain system documentation, including user guides, technical specifications, and process workflows
- Provide end-user support and training as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent work experienc.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as an ERP Systems Manager/Administrator, or in a related role
- Hands-on experience with on-premises systems such as AS/400 Mapics ERP and Smarteam PDM (preferred)
- Proficient in SOX auditing in a highly regulated environment
- Development experience with SQL, Visual Basic, .NET, and IIS-based applications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with technical and non-technical teams
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with business processes within a manufacturing facility
- Experience with application & data integration processes
- Knowledge of CMMC, NIST, SOX, ITAR, DFARS and GDPR compliance a plus
- Experience with Report writing & automation (Automate, Compleo, Crystal, Monarch & SSRS)
- IBM I series AS400 experience a plus
- SmarTeam experience a plus

Salary : $80,000 - $120,000
