We are seeking a skilled CNC Swiss Lathe Machinist to join our team. You will be responsible for setting up and operating machines to produce precision parts and components. This is a full-time position on 2nd shift with competitive pay, benefits and shift differential.

- Set up and operate CNC Swiss machines
- Read and interpret blueprints and related technical data to determine tooling requirements, setup procedures and machining methods and sequences.
- First Article Inspection and inspection of parts during production to maintain quality throughout the production run
- Must have the ability to maintain close tolerances (within .001) tolerance
- Knowledge to review and interpret "G" and "M" Code
- Prepares and pre-sets all tools needed for machining operations
- Must have an understanding of machine tool accuracies, fixture offsets, and tool offsets
- Knowledge of cutting tool feeds, speeds and tool life
- Work closely with ME/CNC Programmers on new job prove-out, troubleshooting and improving processes
- Work with ME department to optimize processes and identify insourcing and reprocessing opportunities
- Self-starter and self-motivated person, ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to work overtime regularly
- Ability to work well in team environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
- 3 years of experience setting up and operating Swiss Lathe or equivalent machine
- Experience with Mitsubishi controls and Citizen Machines
- Ability to use Comparator, micrometers, air gages, calipers, profilometer, etc.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T
- Ability to setup machines including editing speeds, feeds, tool and fixture offsets
- Experience in programming CNC machines is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalency
