Position Overview:
The Senior Financial Analyst (Business Partner) will support all financial aspects of plant operations, including forecasting, reporting, and cost analysis. This individual will work closely with plant leadership to drive performance, identify opportunities for efficiency, and improve overall financial outcomes.
This is not a traditional corporate FP&A role, this position is embedded in the business and requires strong partnership with operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for plant operations
- Support month-end close and financial reporting processes
- Perform cost analysis, labor analysis, and productivity tracking
- Analyze KPIs and operational metrics to drive performance insights
- Partner directly with plant leadership to influence decision-making
- Identify cost savings opportunities and process improvements
- Support development of financial models and reporting tools
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and finance teams
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 3 years of experience in FP&A, operations finance, or manufacturing finance
- Strong understanding of cost accounting and operational metrics
- Experience in a manufacturing, plant, or supply chain environment preferred
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with BI tools or ERP systems is a plus
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
