Senior Cost Accountant, Manufacturing Accounting
Location: Trinity, NC
Comp: $65K–$95K
We're working with a Fortune 500 industry leader that is adding a Senior Cost Accountant to its finance/accounting team.
This role is a strong fit for someone who enjoys manufacturing accounting, inventory, standard costing, product costing, month-end close, and partnering with operations finance.
The company has a strong leadership team, a collaborative culture, and real internal growth opportunities.
What you’ll focus on:
- Monthly and quarterly cost accounting close activities
- Inventory and standard cost analysis
- Product costing and costing requests
- BOM, routing, labor, and overhead analysis
- Account reconciliations and month-end reporting
- Process improvement and business partnership with plant/operations teams
Ideal background:
- 3 years of accounting or cost accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- CPA or CMA a plus
- ERP experience preferred
- Power BI experience a plus
