Key Responsibilities:

• Machinists are REQUIRED to perform all set up procedures and load programs, 1st piece inspections and run production loads on CNC equipment
• Must be able to determine tooling, design and build fixtures, perform setups; load and set tool offsets, set and modify work offsets
• Use of measuring tools, including micrometers, calipers, and indicators, calibration, and proper maintenance of equipment
• Ability to set up and operate a variety of machines applying knowledge of mechanics and shop mathematics
• Collaborate and support production and quality departments on assigned daily activities
• Responsible for maintaining documentation and trace ability 
• Monitor and maintain quality of production work
• Strong knowledge of materials, tooling, and machining procedures
• Competent in applying common sense understanding to carry out details (written and oral) instructions
• Must be able to work with minimum supervision and meet quality and on-time delivery requirements.

Requirements

Basic Qualification:

• 3-5 years CNC Lathe Machine/Operator experience preferred
• Experience running multi-axis machines
• G-Code and M-Code Programming a MUST and ability to read and edit programs for a variety of CNC Lathes
• Interpret blueprints or product drawings, and specification sheets
• Must be able to read, write and comprehend English written technical documentation

• Experience with Aircraft parts preferred
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Self-starter, detail oriented, team player, logical, reliable, and loyal

Job Type

Full-Time Hourly

Weekly day range:

Monday to Thursday, 4-day 10-hour shifts, OT available on selected Fridays

1st shift:  5:00 AM to 3:30 PM with breaks

Work setting:

Warehouse – cooled and heated
