Quality Engineer
Location: Morristown, TN
Salary: $60,000–$70,000
Position Overview
We are seeking an entry-level Quality Engineer for our manufacturing client in the Morristown, TN area. This is a great opportunity for a recent engineering graduate with internship experience or someone with approximately one year of experience to grow their career in automotive quality.
Responsibilities
- Assist with internal and external quality audits and follow-up actions.
- Work with operators and technicians on the manufacturing floor to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Perform root cause analysis and support corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare and submit PPAP documentation to meet customer requirements.
- Monitor quality performance, investigate defects, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain quality documentation and support compliance with automotive quality standards.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve processes and prevent recurring issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience; internships and co-ops are welcome.
- Exposure to automotive manufacturing or quality processes preferred.
- Basic understanding of root cause analysis and problem-solving.
- Familiarity with PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, or IATF 16949 is a plus.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
