We are partnering with a well-established manufacturing organization to identify a Manufacturing Accountant to support the financial operations of a plant environment. This is a great opportunity for an early-career accounting professional who enjoys working with numbers, analyzing financial information, and partnering with operations to understand the story behind the numbers.

The ideal candidate will have some exposure to manufacturing, cost accounting, inventory, or operational financial analysis, along with strong Excel skills. Recent accounting graduates with relevant manufacturing internships or co-op experience are encouraged to apply.

What You'll Do

• Support day-to-day accounting and financial activities for a manufacturing/plant operation.
• Analyze plant expenses, production costs, inventory, and budget performance.
• Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis.
• Review production and financial data to identify discrepancies, trends, and variances.
• Investigate production and cost variances and communicate findings to plant leadership.
• Assist with inventory-related activities, including cycle counts and financial audits.
• Prepare financial reports and analysis to support operational and management decisions.
• Reconcile expenses against budgets and help identify areas requiring additional review.
• Support accounts payable, invoicing, payroll, and other accounting functions as needed.
• Work closely with operations and other internal teams to answer financial questions and provide analysis.
• Utilize ERP systems and Excel to organize, analyze, and report financial information.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of accounting or financial analysis experience preferred.
• Manufacturing, plant, inventory, or cost accounting experience is a strong plus.
• Recent graduates with a manufacturing accounting internship or co-op are encouraged to apply.
• Strong Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and general data analysis.
• Experience with an ERP system; SAP experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working with operational teams and explaining financial information.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
