Aegis Worldwide is currently partnered with an automotive industry manufacturing company near the Dayton, OH area that is hiring for an Industrial Engineer. This is a great role to get your foot in the door, as employees stay within this role for roughly 1-3 years before advancing into a promotion or other position. We're looking for candidates who hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering, are passionate about manufacturing & continuous improvement, and are open to an engineering position requiring travel.

EMPLOYMENT TYPE - Full-time, Direct Hire
LOCATION - Near Dayton, OH area
SCHEDULE - Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM or similar hours
TRAVEL - During product launch times, travel can be up to 40%, both domestic and international.
SALARY - $75,000 - $87,000 base salary

Responsibilities:
- Calculate standard labor hours and labor balances for programs, focused on labor and resources needed to complete customer jobs.
- Lead manufacturing system design processes with the lead manufacturing team, creating SOPs, instructions, and guidelines for manufacturing processes.
- Create major project deliverables and communicate these to production and engineering teams.
- Design processes, packaging, and cell layouts to meet customer job requirements, working within 3D software/AutoCAD.
- Lead workshops to evaluate testing, durability, and product functionality.
- Complete basic air proofing on manufactured items.
- Assist with building assembly stations for final product adjustments or additions.
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
- 0-3 years of engineering (industrial, manufacturing, process, etc.) experience – open to new graduates with internship experience, but would prefer at least 6 months of experience in an engineering position.
- Experience with AutoCAD or a 3D design software.
- Experience with product launch processes strongly preferred.
- Must have the ability to travel, both domestically and internationally, up to 40% of the time.
