Overview:
Aegis Worldwide is currently partnered a full cycle glass manufacturing company. They received the raw materials to make the end product, and by the time the product leaves the facility they have fully finished and tempered windshields.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in related field or 5 years of Health & Safety professional experience with a minimum of HS diploma/GED
- 5 years in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Ability to work flexible hours or alternate work schedules depending on site needs.
- Available to provide consultation, guidance, and support to site operations during off-hours as needed.
- Reliable transportation and predictable attendance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, update, and communicate Health & Safety (H&S) rules and procedures for all site operations.
- Implement all elements of the Carlex EHS Management System, support the annual Program Evaluation process, and manage associated corrective action plans.
- Develop, implement, and manage H&S training programs.
- Implement programs to monitor physical, biological, and chemical hazards and develop action plans to mitigate associated risks.
- Ensure all required H&S records and reporting requirements are maintained, accurate, and submitted in a timely manner.
- Chair and/or provide guidance and subject matter expertise on all H&S related committees.
- Assist with the design and development of facilities, work areas, and procedures to ensure H&S requirements are captured and implemented as required.
