The HR, Talent Acquisition, and Benefits Specialist is responsible for the combination of Human Resource, Talent Acquisition, and Benefit Administration tasks. This is an on-site position located in Cincinnati, Ohio
Key Responsibilities
General tasks-
- Develop a strong, trusted partnership with Aegis Protective Services leaders, acting as a partner in day-to-day operations
- Develop a culture that enables employees to perform in accordance with Aegis Protective Services' values and mission.
- All other tasks as assigned by Human Resources Director
- Oversee visitor relations, welcoming individuals into the lobby and inquiring about their visit,
- Answer the main Aegis Protective Services phone line, answering inquiries, transferring calls as needed.
- Assist, when needed, in the completion of non-phone correspondence into Aegis Protective Services, such as email or text messages, ensuring that the turnaround time for a reply is within an appropriate timeframe.
- Update the employee bulletin board as needed
- Assist with office party and event planning.
- Security Officer uniform management, including its processes/ procedures, issuing uniforms, updating employee uniforms on file, any minor tailoring or adjustments to the branded protective wear, and their eventual folding and organization.
- Recruiting for open guard positions. Including sourcing, initial interviews, coordinating second interviews, creating offer letters, scheduling onboarding, and sending onboarding paperwork.
- Completing the onboarding process including I-9 verification through E-Verify, administering a drug screening, obtaining fingerprints for licensing, and processing paperwork.
- Running pre-employment background tests.
- Completing the offboarding process with terminated employees.
- Updating and maintaining accurate employee records through our HRIS systems.
- Ensure all administrative policies and procedures adhere to federal, state, and local law.
- Assist field operations with employee related issues such as performance, attendance, etc.
- Assist with Benefit administration including Health, 401k, dental, etc.
- Assist with open enrollment
- Answer all inquiries regarding benefits.
- An associate’s degree is required, or, comparable work experience in the Human Resources, Benefits administration, and/or Office Administration industries.
- Benefit Administration experience is strongly preferred.
- Full-cycle recruiting experience is strongly preferred
- Proven experience in recruiting, preferably in a fast-paced environment and the ability to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously
- Familiarity with HRIS systems like UKG.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong technology skills including the use of multiple internal systems and the full Microsoft office suite with the ability to adapt and learn new systems quickly.
- Ability to multitask.
- Highly organized with attention to detail
- Must be able to see, hear, speak, and write clearly to communicate with employees and/or other candidates.
- Normal vision or corrected by use of glasses and/or contacts for normal reading and viewing abilities.
