Position Requirements
- Observe and Report: Monitor assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of the premises, conducting regular inspections to identify and deter potential security risks, illegal activity, or breaches.
- Operate and monitor building access equipment to ensure the security of the premises.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with site and Company staff regarding security matters.
- When required, complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of security-related activities.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents and take appropriate action.
- Provide excellent service by assisting visitors and employees with inquiries and concerns.
- Manage conflicts and disturbances in a calm and professional manner.
- Work together with law enforcement agencies as needed.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development related to security functions and processes.
- High School Diploma/GED is required.
- Experience in a Concierge role in a condominium building is preferred. Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is a plus.
- Strong observational and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- First Aid and CPR certification is desirable.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Ability to work flexible hours, potentially including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to see, hear, speak, and write clearly to communicate with employees and/or other customers.
- Pushing/pulling/carrying and lifting may include up to 50 lbs.; stair climbing, walking and, at times, standing.
- Normal vision or corrected by use of glasses and/or contacts for normal reading and viewing abilities.
