Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire

Compensation: $20–$25/hr

Schedule: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Overtime up to 20 hours/week, preferred 5:00 AM – 4:30 PM)

1. Skillfully maneuver a horizontal band saw (experience with Clausing Kalamazoo is a plus).
2. Decipher blueprints, work orders, and cut lists for exact cuts.
3. Adjust saws to accommodate various materials and specifications.
4. Confirm measurements employing calipers, tape measures, and squares.
5. Ensure all cuts comply with specified dimensions and tolerances.
6. Uphold superior safety and quality standards.
7. Cooperate with the team to enhance productivity.

• Essential: 4–5 years of horizontal band saw operations experience.
• Proficiency in metal cutting within fabrication or bespoke machinery settings.
• Extensive familiarity with measurement instruments.
• Competent in blueprints and technical drawings interpretation.
• Eagerness for plentiful overtime.
• Desirable: Experience with Clausing Kalamazoo saws and high-mix/low-volume production.
• High School Diploma or GED.
