Position
Swenson Spreader is seeking a Press Brake Operator. In this role, you will apply lean manufacturing principles to set up and operate press brake machines, performing tasks such as bending, forming, notching, and straightening metal parts based on specifications.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate press brake machines for various production jobs.
- Perform bending and forming operations, ensuring high quality and efficiency.
- Inspect finished products and record labor/production data.
- Follow safety and lean manufacturing practices to maintain a clean and efficient work environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of experience with press brake machines and metal handling.
- Strong attention to detail, with basic math and computer skills.
- Ability to lift and handle large parts with overhead cranes.
