This position is responsible for the set up and operation of press brakes and safely produce product per instructions and blueprint.

Medium work - Lifting up to 50 pounds, and/or up to 20 pounds frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of constantly to move objects. Moving over 50 pounds requires a lifting device or team lift.
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The employee works in a manufacturing
plant environment with normal exposure to noise, dust, and hazards associated with working in a high traffic, heavy machinery, manufacturing plant. Typical work hours are Monday through Thursday from 5:45 AM - 4:15 PM (may vary by area in department). Job requires overtime. Work hours may change at Management's discretion with prior notice.
Essential Duties And Other Responsibilities
- Safely and productively set-up and operate brake presses, including but not limited to the LVD and Pacific
- Processes any and all transactions in company systems in an accurate and timely manner
- Perform first, in-process and final inspection using various measuring instruments
- Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 0-3 months experience
- Ability to communicate, read and write in English
- Intermediate Shop Math
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints including geometric dimensioning
- Ability to accurately perform inspections of produced work through use of appropriate quality tools, including but not limited to micrometers, calipers and tape measures
- Ability to do basic data entry
