Competitive Pay Package

• Travel Candidates: $2,600 Weekly Gross
• Local Candidates: $67/hour on W-2
• Local Eligibility: Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility based on their driver's license (DL) address will be considered at the local rate.

Position Overview

AE Talents Health® is urgently seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week contract assignment in Hamilton, New York. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of hospital-based respiratory therapy experience, an active New York State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license, and current BLS and ACLS certifications.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified respiratory therapist seeking a competitive travel assignment or a local position.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine and assess patients with cardiopulmonary and respiratory disorders.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient treatment plans.
• Administer respiratory treatments, including aerosol therapy and chest physiotherapy.
• Monitor patients' respiratory status and evaluate their response to prescribed treatments.
• Record treatment progress and maintain accurate patient charts and clinical documentation.
• Operate respiratory therapy equipment according to established clinical protocols.
• Support patients experiencing respiratory distress and assist with appropriate respiratory interventions.
• Follow hospital policies, infection prevention practices, and patient safety standards.
• Communicate patient progress and changes in respiratory status to the healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate treatment records and ensure proper use of medical equipment.

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• Current NBRC RRT credential.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of RRT experience in a hospital setting.
• Graduation from an accredited respiratory therapy program.
• Successful completion of the required certification examination.
• Ability to work three consecutive 12-hour day shifts.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
