Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, charismatic, and passionate Elementary School Teacher to join our educational and spirited summer camp team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and promoting the academic and social development of young learners. This role involves leading curriculum, getting creative, showing lots of personality, and having fun.
Responsibilities
- Participate in a camp training June 6th
- Absorb curriculum and execute daily lesson plans
- Execute stellar classroom management styles to engage campers in a fun way
- Assist campers in completing camp projects
- Navigate different technology formats
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field; teaching certification preferred.
- Proven experience working with children in an educational setting.
- Strong skills in proofreading lesson materials and student assignments.
- Familiarity with early childhood education principles is highly desirable.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive classroom environment that respects diversity.
Schedule during camp is 8:15am-3:15pm (a little earlier day one and a little later on the last day)
