Our client, a fast-growing manufacturing company, is looking for a Human Resources Business Partner who is Operations and business driven with a People-first attitude.
This isn’t a traditional HR role. As an HR Business Partner, you’ll be embedded in the business. It is a high visibility role. You’ll partner with leaders to drive performance, strengthen teams, and build a culture people actually want to be part of. This position reports to the VP of HR.

Job Description:
Business & Operations Partnership
- Partner with leadership to align people strategy with business goals (capacity, productivity, growth) —understand challenges and opportunities firsthand
- Lead performance management, coaching, and development planning
- Identify talent gaps and support succession planning
- Use data (turnover, headcount, productivity) to drive decisions and engagement, retention, and a culture of accountability and respect
Talent & Culture
- Build strong talent pipelines using creative, community-driven recruiting
Payroll & Compliance
- Support payroll processes alongside the Payroll Specialist
- Ensure compliance with CA, CO, and multi-state employment laws
Requirements:
- 5 years of HR experience in manufacturing or operations-heavy environments
- Strong knowledge of payroll, compliance, and employee relations
- Ability to influence leaders and operate as a true business partner
- Equally comfortable with strategy and hands-on execution
- High ownership, urgency, and follow-through
