Accounts Receivable Clerk

A growing manufacturing company is hiring an Accounts Receivable Clerk to support day-to-day billing and collections. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and process customer invoices for products and services
- Monitor AR aging and follow up on past-due accounts
- Post and apply payments (checks, ACH, wires, credit cards)
- Research and resolve billing discrepancies
- Reconcile accounts and assist with month-end close
- Prepare aging reports and maintain accurate records
- Partner with sales, shipping, and customer service to resolve issues
- Support credit checks, audit requests, and special projects
Qualifications:
- 2 years of accounts receivable or general accounting experience
- Manufacturing industry experience preferred
- Strong ERP and Excel skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a high-volume setting
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience with high-volume invoicing and cash applications
- Knowledge of collections processes and credit terms
- Familiarity with sales tax and shipping documentation
