Technical Supervisor - Manufacturing (Power Distribution)
Location: Houston, TX (Onsite)
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Salary: $70,000-$90,000 (DOE) Bonus Full Benefits
We are hiring a Technical Manufacturing Supervisor to lead production teams in a fast-growing environment focused on custom, engineered-to-order power distribution systems. This is a hands-on leadership role supporting the build of switchgear, MCCs, and related electrical systems for industrial applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of 10 manufacturing employees in daily production activities
- Oversee assembly of switchgear, motor control centers (MCCs), and power distribution systems
- Support engineered-to-order builds, ensuring quality, accuracy, and on-time delivery
- Drive Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste
- Coordinate with engineering, quality, and operations teams to resolve production issues
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and production standards
- Monitor performance, provide coaching, and support team development
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience leading teams in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong background in electrical assembly and power distribution systems
- Experience with custom or engineered-to-order manufacturing
- Knowledge of switchgear, MCCs, and industrial electrical systems
- Lean / Six Sigma leadership experience preferred
- Experience in oil & gas or heavy industrial environments
