Solutions Architect (CCIE Certified)
Location: Boston, MA (Onsite)
Pay Rate: $65.00 - $85.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Position Type: Temporary Contract (Approx. 4 Months)

We're seeking a highly skilled Solutions Architect to help lead network architecture initiatives while providing hands-on support for critical infrastructure projects. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-impact networking technologies and contribute to the success of a large-scale production environment.
Job Duties

Design, support, and optimize complex Cisco network infrastructures

Troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking issues across enterprise environments

Manage routing, switching, protocol redistribution, and configuration changes

Support network upgrades, migrations, patching, and lifecycle projects

Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement performance improvements

Assist with network security initiatives and incident response activities

Maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, and configuration records

Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to internal teams
Qualifications
-
Active Cisco CCIE certification required

Extensive experience with Cisco IOS, IOS-XE, and IOS-XR environments

Strong expertise in enterprise routing, switching, and network troubleshooting

Experience supporting network upgrades, migrations, and change management processes

Knowledge of OSI model Layers 1-4 and modern data center networking concepts

Excellent communication and documentation skills
