Senior Supply Chain Analyst (Contract)
Location: Fountain Valley, CA
Pay: $30.00 - $44.00/hour (Based on Experience)
We are seeking an experienced Senior Supply Chain Analyst to support inventory planning, demand forecasting, procurement, and supplier performance management within a fast-paced automotive parts distribution environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals with experience in inventory management, supply planning, forecasting, purchasing, and logistics analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop forecasts and manage inventory levels to achieve fill rate, backorder, and inventory performance goals.
- Analyze demand trends and create purchase orders to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Monitor and expedite supplier purchase orders to minimize shortages and dealer backorders.
- Coordinate new product and new model launch inventory planning to ensure product availability.
- Review inventory data, purchasing activity, and supply chain performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
- Maintain accurate part master and purchase order records.
- Support inventory analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with suppliers, operations, and internal stakeholders to improve customer service and supply chain efficiency.
- Train and support junior supply chain team members as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 4-6 years of experience in inventory planning, demand forecasting, supply chain analysis, purchasing, or inventory management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with large datasets, inventory systems, and supply chain reporting tools.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with business software applications.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and make data-driven decisions independently.
